Newly renovated apartments of this historic property will start becoming available as soon as December 2010. This project is the result of an extensive community process to create a redevelopment and preservation plan for Buckingham Villages. The renovation plan addresses the needs of the community while incorporating the latest green and historic guidelines.

On October 1, 2010, the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP) celebrated its first birthday. Created as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, HPRP provides financial assistance and housing stabilization services to households that are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
